Oh man! The last week or so has been quite the challenge with Baylin. I am convinced that we have hit the terrible twos and I am not prepared. Working 50+ hours a week, I am way to tired to deal with this in a good way!
We were walking into the grocery store a few days ago and he just sat down in the doorway and started kicking his feet. Then last night we had company, for a whopping 15 minutes and he would not come out of his room. He has seen these people on several occasions before, even played with them and nothing. When I finally went and got him he cried and carried on, but would not let go of me. It got to the point that Brady put him to bed and he was fine. Even came out and told them bye bye at the door.
What happened to my good little boy? He does not even listen anymore. He only does things if he will benefit from them, gets into stuff he knows he is not supposed to, and whines aaaaaaallllllllll day long!!!
I do not remember this with my sister or any cousins.
Any suggestions on how to get through this without losing my mind? And how long does this last???

It may not be his age, but rather the state his brother has been causing lately. I imagine that when Gunner is having his crying fits, Gunner gets alot of attention. Maybe it is just a competition for the limited amount of mommy time that is available. I know you try your best, but it must be really difficult. You will survive...and you will get to tell Baylin's future wife all about it!
I never thought if it that way! thanks
Our doctor told us that most kids hit the terrible two's at 1 1/2 years of age.
Does Baylin play with other kids? Little J starting staying and playing with our neighbors' kids while we moved and painted. They have a 3 year old and a 5 month, and after that time with them J is such a different little boy. He would throw fits like the 3 year old, and say stop, go, now, and it has been so hard trying to get him back to the nice little boy that he was.
