So last night Baylin got ketchup in his hair, but both of us were too tired to give him a bath. I know... terrible parents, but whatever. So this afternoon after lunch I am giving Baylin a bath. He is pretty self sufficient in there and can be trusted to play for a minute or two alone. So having already mopped the kitchen, it is time to scrub the toilets. I scrub the one in his bathroom as he watched and then went to our bathroom.
When I come back... GROSS-TASTIC! Baylin had pooped in the freaking tub! So out he goes onto the potty and I start to get things taken care of. I took him and gave him a shower in our bathtub and scrubbed him down. So needless to say, today I have mopped my kitchen, cleaned both toilets, scrubbed the kid (TWICE), scrubbed the kid's tub, and two loads of laundry.
Kids are gross, but I guess they give you a reason to get some cleaning done. Baylin will also bring me little teenytiny bits of stuff off my carpet and say "trash", which translates into "mom, you need to vacuum."

I can relate to that. Then after they mess up the come and hug you and say "I luv you" and you believe it is all worth it.!! I luv you, too.
So I left the "y" off of "they" and I don't know how to fix it. Sorry.
awwww.... you are right. Although we still do not get "I luv you" even though Baylin is speaking in 4 or 5 word sentences at times, but we DO get really really sweet hugs and kisses out of the blue.
The random kisses and hugs get fewer and farther between, but are still just as sweet, as the kids age. My teenager hugged me yesterday! I thought she didn't even know I existed.
