Breastfeeding oops!

So last week was my first week back at work. I pumped for 4 days for one feeding a day before I returned to work and gave Gunner a bottle of formula while I pumped. We were all set for the first day.
The plan was get up at 4am, pump, get ready for work, and then pump at work enough for the next day, etc. Well, then the plan was to get up at 4am on my 3 days off to pump. Stupid me did it the first day and thought, 'why am I getting up on my days off?' so I did not do it as sleep seemed like a much better option, even with the GI-NORMOUS boob in the morning.
So this morning I realize that the reason I was getting up at 4am was so I would have milk for Friday when I go to work. OH MY GOSH!!!! HELLO!!??? I have two bags in the freezer and I guess I will give him formula for one feeding today and save that milk for tomorrow. Geez, this is harder than I thought it was!
Oh and I did say one boob was huge. That is because I am only nursing on one side. We got thrush in the beginning and the left side just never healed. Once the thrush was gone, then it started to crack and peel. I tell Brady that my boob is going to fall off! It has been doing that for weeks now, so to keep my options open I still feed him before bed from that side, but I am still considering just turning it off altogether.
I never thought breastfeeding would be this hard... but I can get it. If I can get through the pain of nursing with thrush, (although I was cursing like a sailor the whole time) then I can figure out some little pumping schedule and being a little lopsided!
Side note- feeding exclusively from the right side is not noticeable since my left side has always been bigger anyway. As long as I am not "full" you cannot even tell! But as mom would tell you, she could tell that the left was bigger than the right just by looking at me... FULLY DRESSED! So HA! You cannot tell now!

I used to use zinc oxide when I got sore. It helped. Have to wash it off good before you nurse, tho.

As a bonus, if you start leaking, you can put it off as a spill...because you don't have the obvious two-boob leak!!!
