And I WON! Over the last week we have had ants in our kitchen. Thankfully they have just been on the floor. If they had gotten on the counter I would have lost my mind, but it looks like they were after the dog food and little bits'o'food found in corners. I tried everything that was safe to the kids and the two chihuahuas. I cleaned them up... well stomped on every ant with my bare foot until they were all gone...so of course Baylin started walking around stomping on imaginary things, which was pretty cute. Anyway, just killing them did not work. Really?
So I went to the internet. Either we have super-ants immune to every remedy or those remedies just don't work! I tried spraying vinegar and water, Windex and vinegar, sprinkling chili powder, spreading chili powder paste (which reminds me, I am now out of chili powder), and bay leaves. Nothing worked. I gave in and bought some Raid Ant and Roach (because you know if I just buy Ant then in a week I will need Roach spray, please don't let me get roaches). The problem is I left it for Brady to do. He has sprayed every inch of our tile kitchen floor! The ants have been gone for two days, but now I have to scrub the floor. I have an hour before Baylin gets up and Gunner is snoozing in his chair so I had better get to it.
But hey at least the ants are gone.

At the top of my blog it has "customize". If you click on that it has a place to put other blogs. You need the url for them. It should be at the top of every blog.
