oh no he didn't!!!

But he did!

We were replacing the light bulb in the porch light and I was helping Brady. There we were both of us on the porch Brady on the ladder and me holding all the things. Baylin is standing there by the metal security door watching. In the background I hear "click" and I look over just in time to see his little hand coming from the dead bolt. OH MY GOSH!!! HE LOCKED US OUT!!!
All of the coaxing and guiding in the world could not get that little boy to turn the knob. He just sat there and giggled at us. Here it is 8:30 at night and I am outside with no key and no phone, while my kids are locked inside.
Luckily all is well in the end. We had left something unlocked earlier that Brady was able to get through and get inside.
Oh MAN that was scary!

Oh a different topic, we were running errands today and driving down the road. In the back I hear Baylin saying Yes... pause....Yes......pause..... Yes. I comment to Brady that I wonder what he was talking about. Brady tells me that there were just a bunch of election signs, you know the ones: YES on Prop 120 etc, but we both dismiss it as coincidence. Then there's another sign about a block down and he says YES again. Now I am not sure of he was reading them or not, but we were impressed!

Weird... I had mistyped "an" on the caption for Gunner's picture and when I corrected it, the picture got smaller. I cannot get it to go back!

And yes, it is possible to misspell AN. I put AND instead. Give me a break, I am a tired mama.

Instead of using the "edit" on the picture, go to "customize" to make corrections. The picture will not get smaller. I discovered that by accident. You might have to start over on this one, though. Delete the picture, then go to customize and insert it again.

I discovered that at Home Depot they sell the little combo lock boxes for keys like the realtors use - you know, the owner leaves the keys in the little strongbox thingee so that any realtor can show the house. I think we will buy one of those in case...well, in case the cat locks us out.
